JapanFest!

Another fun year at JapanFest at the Arena at Gwinnett center! The set up was much better this year not as crowded. They had a live band this year which was pretty sweet. The bands name was Sinatra and were rock music suprisingly and it was awesome. The guitarist was rocking some Napolean Dynamite moon shoes in purple. Lead singer did some pretty dope dancing. Got some freebies from sapporo and TV Japan. If you get a chance check it out next year!!

Needed some eye candy...

So I finally decided to go find books japan's new location w/ Huy today. New place is right behind boomers the lame non-alcohol strip club haha. Couldn't find any doriten mags but picked up two vids and they were on sale. Got to see some of the Anime weekend atl kids in costumes going up the street haha. Trip was a success.

I slept through my alarm and got an hour of extra sleep.

Saw this at GTE while we were picking up some tires they mounted up for us! GTE IS THE SHIZNITE!

Work wasn't bad. Had an annoying wire pull to do but not bad.

after work I saw this in the little town we were in...



I have never seen one that clean. My Dad always tells me about the one he had. He said his looked almost just like this one. Pretty neat.


Got home and went to the fair w/ Laura, Matt and Katie. It was pretty fun people watching and ran into Justin for a min.

All this talk of old schol drift teams....

Made me want to watch some old drift club videos.

This one has the teams Night Zone and Marionette among others and has up and comers Drift Zamurai, Asamoto, Fukuoka, Ucchi, Kazama...

team stickers...

I have been trying to think up some cool Team Rowdy stickers for us. Time for a face lift on that old blue. I wanted the old traditional drift team sticker look of the japanese teams that inspired me to start drifting.

and after some suggestions from Patrick finally got to this


I think its way better than the old one. I can't wait to get stickers made up.





I also did a Marionette tribute one for fun...


They were definitely a big inspiration watching them do group drift and made it look like so much fun.

Footwork...

Kazama's footwork and super fast shifts while drifting has always been amazing/inspiring to me.

The JZX100 close to the end is so rad!
